Over the years the company has roofed at least 500,000 Square meters with its portal
framed structure throughout Tanzania.
In addition to the industrial sector, the company as General Building Contractors
also undertakes Residential and Commercial projects.
We have undertaken and successfully executed numerous projects including:
- Soil Conservation Centre at Shinyanga.
- NBC Bank Building at Tanga.
- Police Housing Scheme, Tanzania Harbours Authority.
- NIC Investment and Staff flats, Dar Es Salaam.
- Staff Flats for the Tanzania National Parks at Arusha.
- Mhasibu House for the National Board of Accountants & Auditors in Dar Es Salaam.
- Administration Block and Cafeteria Complex for the Institute of Accountancy, Arusha.
Across the borders of Tanzania the company has carried out various projects in Kenya,
Nigeria and also played a major role in the construction of the Tanzania Pavilion
at the Expo 70 held in Japan. At the company’s head office and workshop on Nyerere
Road you will find facilities manned by specialists in the following areas:

Our History
Italframe began specializing in the manufacture and supply of Free Span Precast
Concrete Portal Frames. These frames serve the same purpose as Fabricated Steel
Structures with the same technical requirements but with many economic & other
advantages to steel.

These advantages include:
- They have been designed for this country’s market in order to contribute to its
economical development.
- They are entirely made with local materials and labour, thus promoting Tanzania’s
economy.
